By making the session record itself. The problem it was built for is simple: a trainer sells a ten-pack, has a busy day, forgets who came in, and a paid session goes unrecorded. In Coach Console the client checks in by QR code, which draws down their pack on the spot. The trainer's day appears as a schedule that syncs with Outlook and Google Calendar, and when a pack runs low the client can buy the next one from their own check-in page. Coach Console is $14.99 a month for a trainer. ## How does a volunteer app hold up on festival day? By asking nothing of a volunteer but a code. A coordinator adds each person and the app issues them a personal six-character code, so there is no account or password to forget on the day. Coordinators set a team's staffing for each day and the app spreads it evenly across that day's shifts. The day itself runs on a live roster board, a tilted 3D map of the grounds with calibrated GPS, help beacons, announcements and team chat. The festival ran on 4 and 5 September 2026. ## How do schedules reach people's own calendars? Through the format every calendar app already reads. Coach Console publishes sessions as an iCalendar feed, the standard defined in [RFC 5545](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5545), so a schedule is subscribed to once rather than copied by hand.
